- Breeding Properties:
CASCADE was developed in the U.S.A breeding program in Oregon and released as a U.S. aroma variety in 1972. It is characterized by a dark green elongated cone with an aroma that is of medium strength with very distinct floral notes and is often described as having grapefruit like character. CASCADE is the definitive hop for American craft brews.
